Bicycle Tourism Workshop for Oregon’s Scenic Bikeways

 

Greetings!

Would you like to learn how to capitalize on the growing trend of bicycle tourism?

Would you like to learn more about the 134-mile Grande Tour Scenic Bikeway that starts and ends in La Grande?

Would you like to learn more about the 9 designated Oregon Scenic Bikeways, the first in the nation?

Then plan to attend the Bicycle Tourism Studio for Oregon Scenic Bikeways in La Grande, hosted by Travel Oregon and Oregon Parks & Recreation. This is the first Bicycle Tourism Workshop in the state!

When:  Feb. 12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Lunch is included.  If you are unable to attend for the entire workshop, please drop in when you can.

Where: Cook Memorial Library Community Room, 2006 4th St., La Grande

Who should attend: Bicyclists (casual or serious), business owners or managers who serve visitors, or anyone who is interested in benefiting from bicycle tourism.

Oregon is the first state to designate scenic bikeways and has received publicity around the world for its leadership in this emerging tourism segment.  Get on board with this growing trend!
