On July 22, 1982, Mamacita's Mexican Restaurant opened in La Grande, one of the first restaurants to offer Mexican cuisine in Eastern Oregon. Specializing in an eclectic mix of Mexican foods from the Southwest, Texas and California, as well as dishes from various regions of Mexico, Mamacita's gained recognition for its family style atmosphere, affordable prices, quality homemade entrees made from fresh ingredients and vegetarian options. In July of 2003, after 21 years at 110 Depot Street, Mamacita's moved to its new location next to Max Square and took on a new name ~
