5,000 posters will be distributed to businesses and individuals who help sponsor a place on the map. It will also be featured on www.LaGrandeONLINE.com. There the browser will be able to click on a number of places on the poster and learn more about that particular business or landmark. It will also be full of fun facts and history, such as where to find the best fishing holes. Each business sponsor featured on the map will have a link to their individual web site. There is really nothing quite like it anywhere; La Grande could well be the pioneer city for this kind of interactive, informative poster. A black and white poster will also be available at LaGrandeONLINE.com for kids to color.
Space is limited to a first-come, first-serve situation, as we do not want to muddle up the poster with too many sponsor ads. All businesses must be signed up by July 1st to be on the map.
