Hot Lake Springs
Exterior

For decades Union County has waited for Hot Lake to reawaken in all its beauty. The wait is over. David and Lee Manuel and their family purchased Historic Hot Lake in late 2003 and have been bringing it to its fullest potential ever since.

World-renowned bronze sculptor David Manuel moved his Joseph foundry to the historic destination and immediately began operations. David’s sculptures have been admired and sought after by art collectors for decades and now his works are being created here at Hot Lake. Don’t wait to take a tour of the Bronze Foundry and leave with not only warm memories, but also a treasure to cherish from the experience.

Lobby Entrance Along with moving the foundry, the Manuels have also moved the historical museum from Joseph to Union County. The museum contains local historical items, Indian artifacts, war artifacts and antique guns. The museum also features many different selections and displays of Hot Lake memorabilia and Union County history. Also featured in the collection are a complete military timeline artifact exhibit, fire trucks, horse drawn vehicles and much more. This is perhaps the largest historic display of its kind.

In keeping with the site’s original heritage, great care is being taken to restore and yet preserve its original and timeless feel. Beautifully refinished guest rooms will be available along with an old-time theater. This winter you are invited out to the beautiful restaurant, then step back in time and enjoy a classic movie.
